1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

You do not have to buy anything to enter or win. Buying a Locsanity product will not improve your chances of winning. This Challenge is a contest of skill, not a random drawing. Winners are chosen based on the judging criteria described in these Official Rules. By entering the Challenge, you agree to follow these Official Rules and accept the decisions made by Locsanity regarding the administration of the Challenge.

2. DEFINITIONS

To make these Official Rules easier to read, here are a few important terms. Challenge means the 2026 Locsanity Summer Challenge, which includes both:

  • Locs All Summer
  • Coils All Summer

Challenge Period means the time between Friday, July 17, 2026 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, when entries may be submitted. You means the person entering the Challenge. Submission means everything you send through the official entry form, including:

  • your photo or video;
  • your completed entry form;
  • your selected team;
  • your contact information; and
  • any other information requested on the entry form.

Review Team means the people selected by Locsanity to review entries and choose the winners. We, our, or Locsanity means Locsanity, LLC. Official Website means the Locsanity-owned website and any webpages operated by Locsanity to administer the Challenge, including the official entry form and Official Rules.

3. WHO CAN ENTER

You may enter if all of the following are true:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You legally live in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
  • You complete the official entry form during the Challenge Period.
  • You agree to these Official Rules.

Unfortunately, the following people cannot enter:

  • Locsanity employees
  • company officers and directors
  • contractors working directly on this Challenge
  • advertising or promotional agencies working on this Challenge
  • immediate family members of the people listed above
  • anyone living in the same household as those individuals

The Challenge is void where prohibited by law. We may ask you to verify your eligibility before awarding a prize.

4. CHALLENGE DATES

The Challenge opens on:

Friday, July 17, 2026

The Challenge closes at:

11:59 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, September 13, 2026

Entries received after this deadline will not be accepted. The official time used for the Challenge will be the time recorded by Locsanity’s submission system.

5. HOW TO ENTER

To enter:

  1. Visit the official Challenge webpage.
  2. Complete the entry form.
  3. Upload one eligible photo or video.
  4. Choose either:
    • Locs All Summer, or
    • Coils All Summer.
  5. Select either Team Green or Team Yellow.
  6. Submit your entry before the deadline.

You may enter only one Challenge. You may not enter both Locs All Summer and Coils All Summer. Each person may submit one (1) entry total during the Challenge Period.

If you submit more than one entry, we may disqualify all of your entries.

Submitting an entry does not guarantee:

  • that your photo or video will be published;
  • that it will be used in our marketing;
  • that you will become a finalist; or
  • that you will win a prize.

6. TEAM GREEN & TEAM YELLOW

As part of your entry, you will choose either:

  • Team Green, or
  • Team Yellow.

Your team choice is simply a fun way to encourage community participation.

Your team does not:

  • improve your chances of winning;
  • affect judging;
  • create separate contests;
  • create separate prizes; or
  • influence the Review Team.

Everyone is judged using the same criteria.

We may rename, combine, or discontinue teams in future Challenges without affecting the fairness of the competition.

7. YOUR PHOTO OR VIDEO

Your photo or video must be your own original work.

By entering, you confirm that:

  • you created the photo or video or own the rights to use it;
  • you have permission to submit it;
  • it has not previously won another contest or promotion;
  • it does not violate anyone else’s copyright or legal rights; and
  • it follows these Official Rules.

You are responsible for making sure your entry does not include copyrighted material that you do not have permission to use.

Examples include:

  • music
  • photographs
  • artwork
  • logos
  • television clips
  • movie clips
  • sound recordings
  • graphics

If your entry includes someone else’s copyrighted work without permission, we may disqualify it.

AI Content

We want this Challenge to celebrate real people and authentic creativity.

Your entry must not contain AI-generated images, video, voices, or other content that materially changes the authenticity of your submission.

Basic editing, such as adjusting brightness, color, cropping, sharpening, exposure, or removing small imperfections, is allowed.

Locsanity will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a submission complies with this requirement.

8. CONTENT STANDARDS

Please keep your entry positive and respectful.

Your photo or video must not include content that:

  • promotes illegal activity;
  • shows dangerous or reckless behavior;
  • contains nudity or sexually explicit material;
  • includes hate speech or discrimination;
  • bullies or harasses others;
  • contains false or misleading claims;
  • violates someone else’s privacy;
  • infringes another person’s copyright or trademark;
  • promotes violence;
  • contains offensive language directed at another person; or
  • otherwise conflicts with the values of the Locsanity brand.

We may remove or disqualify any entry that does not meet these standards.

9. WHAT YOU PROMISE BY ENTERING

By entering the Challenge, you confirm that:

  • you are eligible to enter;
  • everything you submitted is true and accurate;
  • your photo or video belongs to you;
  • your entry does not violate anyone else’s rights;
  • everyone who appears in your photo or video has given permission to be included;
  • if a child appears in your entry, you have permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian;
  • you have permission to use any music, graphics, or other materials included in your entry; and
  • you have the legal right to give Locsanity permission to use your entry as described in these Official Rules.

If any of these promises are not true, we may disqualify your entry.

10. HOW LOCSANITY MAY USE YOUR ENTRY

You still own your photo or video.

However, by entering the Challenge, you give Locsanity, its affiliates, service providers, advertising agencies, marketing partners, licensees, successors, assigns, and companies working on its behalf a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use your entry for marketing and business purposes.

This permission includes the right to:

  • publish it;
  • share it;
  • edit it;
  • resize it;
  • crop it;
  • translate it;
  • combine it with other content;
  • create new materials using it; and
  • use it in future marketing campaigns.

We may use your entry anywhere in the world, forever, in any type of media that exists now or is created in the future.</>

Examples include:

  • our website;
  • social media;
  • email campaigns;
  • television;
  • streaming services;
  • print advertising;
  • brochures;
  • catalogs;
  • retail displays;
  • product packaging;
  • trade shows;
  • public relations materials;
  • educational materials;
  • investor presentations; and
  • other advertising or promotional materials.

We may also add:

  • our logo;
  • music;
  • graphics;
  • captions;
  • animations;
  • text; or
  • other branding elements.

You will not receive additional payment or compensation if we use your entry, unless required by law.

We are under no obligation to publish or use your entry.

The rights you grant under this section continue even if you later delete your social media post, remove your original photo or video from the internet, close your social media account, or ask us to stop using your submission, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

11. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR NAME AND LIKENESS

If you enter the Challenge, you also give Locsanity, its affiliates, advertising agencies, marketing partners, service providers, licensees, successors, assigns, and companies working on its behalf permission to use your:

  • name;
  • social media username;
  • photo;
  • video;
  • image;
  • voice;
  • hometown;
  • city and state;
  • statements about the Challenge; and
  • other information you choose to include with your entry.

We may use this information to promote:

  • the Challenge;
  • Locsanity;
  • our products;
  • future contests and promotions; and
  • other marketing or business activities.

We may use your information anywhere in the world and in any type of media, including:

  • our website;
  • social media;
  • email marketing;
  • television;
  • streaming services;
  • print advertising;
  • brochures;
  • product packaging;
  • retail displays;
  • trade shows;
  • public relations materials; and
  • future advertising campaigns.

Unless required by law, you will not receive additional payment if we use your name, photo, or video in these ways.

Nothing in these Official Rules requires us to use your entry or your likeness.

12. WE ARE NOT REQUIRED TO USE YOUR ENTRY

Entering the Challenge does not guarantee that:

  • your photo or video will be published;
  • your entry will appear on social media;
  • you will be featured in advertising;
  • you will become a finalist;
  • you will receive a prize;
  • you will become a Locsanity creator or ambassador; or
  • we will contact you about future opportunities.

We decide which entries, if any, will be used in our marketing or promotional materials.

13. HOW WE MAY EDIT YOUR ENTRY

If we decide to use your entry, we may make reasonable changes so it works better in different types of marketing.

For example, we may:

  • crop or resize it;
  • improve lighting or color;
  • shorten a video;
  • add music;
  • add subtitles or captions;
  • add our logo;
  • add graphics or animations;
  • combine it with other photos or videos;
  • change the layout for different websites or social media platforms; or
  • include it in a larger advertisement or promotional campaign.

We will not intentionally edit your entry in a way that changes its overall meaning or misrepresents you.

You do not need to approve these edits before we use your entry. We may also use all or only part of your submission in any advertising or promotional material.

16. HOW WINNERS ARE CHOSEN

This is a contest of skill, not a random drawing.

Our Review Team will judge eligible entries based on several factors, including:

  • creativity and originality;
  • overall quality of the photo or video;
  • how well the entry represents natural hair;
  • how well it fits the spirit of the Challenge; and
  • the overall presentation of the entry.

No single factor automatically determines the winner.

Our Review Team looks at each eligible entry as a whole.

All judging decisions are final.

We may also reject an entry if it:

  • does not follow these Official Rules;
  • does not meet the Content Standards;
  • is incomplete; or
  • is otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the Challenge.

17. WINNER NOTIFICATION

We expect to announce winners on or around:

Monday, September 21, 2026

If you are selected as a potential winner, we will contact you using the email address or telephone number you provided when entering.

You must respond within 72 hours of our first attempt to contact you.

If you:

  • do not respond in time;
  • cannot be reached;
  • decline the prize;
  • do not complete any required paperwork; or
  • are found to be ineligible,

we may choose another winner.

We are not responsible if we cannot reach you because:

  • your email address is incorrect;
  • your email goes to spam;
  • your voicemail is full;
  • your phone number has changed; or
  • your contact information is otherwise inaccurate.

18. WINNER VERIFICATION

Before we award a prize, we may ask you to verify that you are eligible to win.

Depending on the prize, we may ask you to provide:

  • proof of your age;
  • proof that you live in the United States;
  • a government-issued photo ID;
  • a signed Eligibility Affidavit;
  • a signed Liability Release;
  • a signed Publicity Release;
  • an IRS Form W-9 (if required by law); or
  • other documents reasonably needed to verify your eligibility or award your prize.

If you do not provide the requested information within the time we specify, we may disqualify you and choose another winner.

If we learn that any information you provided was false or misleading, we may revoke your prize even after you have been selected as a winner.

19. HOW WE MAY CONTACT YOU

When you enter the Challenge, you agree that we may contact you using the email address or phone number you provided for purposes related to the Challenge.

This includes:

  • confirming your entry;
  • verifying your eligibility;
  • asking questions about your submission;
  • notifying you if you are selected as a winner;
  • arranging prize delivery; and
  • other matters related to administering the Challenge.

Providing your contact information for these purposes does not automatically sign you up for marketing emails or text messages.

You will only receive marketing communications if you separately choose to opt in.

Standard message and data rates may apply if we contact you by text message.

20. YOUR PRIVACY

We respect your privacy.

The information you provide may be used to:

By entering the Challenge, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

21. IF WE NEED TO CHANGE OR CANCEL THE CHALLENGE

Although we do not expect to, there may be situations where we need to change, suspend, postpone, or cancel the Challenge.

We may do so if something happens that is beyond our reasonable control or makes it difficult to run the Challenge fairly.

Examples include:

  • fraud;
  • hacking;
  • cyberattacks;
  • viruses or malware;
  • technical failures;
  • website outages;
  • internet service interruptions;
  • power outages;
  • natural disasters;
  • severe weather;
  • public health emergencies;
  • government actions;
  • changes in the law; or
  • any other event that affects the fairness or operation of the Challenge.

If we need to end the Challenge early, we may still review eligible entries that were received before the Challenge ended and award prizes based on those entries.

22. TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

We are not responsible for problems that prevent someone from entering or participating in the Challenge.

This includes:

  • internet failures;
  • computer or mobile device problems;
  • website errors;
  • server outages;
  • software bugs;
  • corrupted files;
  • incomplete uploads;
  • delayed submissions;
  • lost submissions;
  • email delivery problems;
  • unauthorized access to computer systems; or
  • any other technical issue beyond our reasonable control.

Submitting your entry does not guarantee that we received it.

Our records will determine whether an entry was successfully received.

23. DISQUALIFICATION

We want the Challenge to be fair for everyone.

We may disqualify any entry if we believe that you:

  • broke these Official Rules;
  • submitted more than one entry;
  • entered both Challenges;
  • created multiple accounts;
  • impersonated another person;
  • provided false information;
  • submitted someone else’s work;
  • used bots, scripts, artificial accounts, or automated tools;
  • tried to interfere with the judging process;
  • attempted to gain an unfair advantage;
  • violated another person’s rights; or
  • otherwise acted dishonestly or unfairly.

If we discover a violation after prizes have been awarded, we may revoke the prize and select another winner.

We may also prevent individuals who intentionally violate these Official Rules from participating in future Locsanity promotions.

24. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

By entering the Challenge, you agree that Locsanity and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, advertising agencies, promotional partners, and representatives will not be responsible for claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • your participation in the Challenge;
  • your submission;
  • the judging process;
  • acceptance or use of a prize;
  • technical problems;
  • use of your submission as allowed under these Official Rules;
  • delays beyond our reasonable control; or
  • administration of the Challenge.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Locsanity’s total liability relating to the Challenge shall not exceed the retail value of the prize awarded to the affected participant.

25. FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY

Locsanity reserves the right to investigate any activity that may interfere with the fair administration of the Challenge.

Examples include:

  • identity fraud;
  • hacked accounts;
  • impersonation;
  • altered photos or videos;
  • fake engagement;
  • automated submissions;
  • bots or scripts;
  • vote manipulation (if applicable);
  • fraudulent documentation; or
  • any other dishonest conduct.

If we believe someone has attempted to unfairly influence the Challenge, we may disqualify that person, revoke any prize, prohibit future participation, and pursue any legal remedies available.

26. INDEMNIFICATION

If you break any of the promises you made in these Official Rules — for example, if your entry uses someone else’s copyrighted work without permission, or includes someone who did not agree to appear in it — and Locsanity is sued or threatened with legal action as a result, you agree to cover Locsanity’s reasonable costs.

This includes:

  • damages or settlements Locsanity has to pay;
  • attorneys’ fees; and
  • other reasonable costs Locsanity incurs defending against the claim.

This only applies to claims caused by your breach of these Official Rules, not to claims arising from Locsanity’s own actions.

27. NO EMPLOYMENT OR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP

Entering the Challenge does not make you:

  • an employee of Locsanity;
  • a contractor;
  • a spokesperson;
  • an ambassador;
  • a sponsored creator;
  • a partner; or
  • a representative of Locsanity.

Even if we feature your photo or video in our marketing, that does not create an ongoing business relationship or guarantee future opportunities.

Any future partnership or paid collaboration with Locsanity must be agreed to separately in writing.

28. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER

This Challenge is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • Meta Platforms, Inc.
  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest
  • X (formerly Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • or any other social media platform.

If you enter this Challenge, you understand that you are providing your information to Locsanity, not to any social media platform.

If you have questions about the Challenge, please contact Locsanity directly.

29. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We hope every participant has a great experience. If you have a concern or believe there has been a mistake, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

Before filing a lawsuit, you agree to give Locsanity written notice describing your concern and allow us 30 days to try to resolve it.

If we are unable to resolve the issue, either party may pursue any legal rights available under these Official Rules and applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • any claim must be brought by you individually;
  • claims may not be combined with claims brought by other people; and
  • you may not participate in a class action, collective action, or representative lawsuit relating to this Challenge.

Nothing in this section prevents either you or Locsanity from asking a court for temporary or emergency relief to protect intellectual property, confidential information, or other legal rights.

30. ATTORNEYS’ FEES AND COSTS

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, each party will pay its own:

  • attorneys’ fees;
  • court costs;
  • expert witness fees; and
  • other legal expenses.

31. NO WAIVER

If Locsanity chooses not to enforce a particular part of these Official Rules in one situation, that does not mean we give up the right to enforce it in another situation.

Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Locsanity.

32. SEVERABILITY

If a court decides that one part of these Official Rules cannot legally be enforced, the rest of the Official Rules will continue to apply.

Whenever possible, the invalid provision will be interpreted in a way that comes as close as legally possible to its original purpose.

33. OUR RIGHTS TO ADMINISTER THE CHALLENGE

Locsanity reserves the right to:

  • interpret these Official Rules;
  • verify eligibility;
  • request additional information when necessary;
  • verify ownership of a Submission;
  • investigate possible rule violations;
  • determine whether an entry meets the Content Standards;
  • determine whether an entry is eligible;
  • correct administrative or technical errors;
  • substitute prizes when permitted by these Official Rules;
  • select alternate winners when necessary; and
  • resolve situations that are not specifically covered by these Official Rules.

Our decisions regarding the administration of the Challenge are final. We may also correct typographical, printing, technical, or administrative errors at any time.

34. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Official Rules, together with:

  • our Privacy Policy;
  • the official Challenge webpages;
  • the official submission form; and
  • any documents specifically referenced in these Official Rules,

make up the complete agreement between you and Locsanity regarding this Challenge.

If information appears somewhere else that conflicts with these Official Rules, these Official Rules will control.

35. GOVERNING LAW

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to Florida’s conflict of law rules.

Any lawsuit relating to this Challenge must be filed in a state or federal court located in Broward County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

By entering the Challenge, you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts and agree that Broward County, Florida, is an appropriate place to resolve disputes relating to the Challenge.
